First Aid Ambulance dressings are used by first aiders, paramedics and emergency services. These are ideally for treating severe injuries where there is heavy blood loss. These are available in different pad sizes depending on how deep the wound is. The bandages are long and elasticated allowing pressure to be applied on the wound while the pad is securely in place. This helps to reduce the blood loss and trauma to the wound minimising the risk of infections. The sterile dressings are wrapped and sealed in plastic wrapping to ensure its easy to unwrap when needed in emergencies.

One main benefit of the pads is that they are thick and highly absorbent for treating deep wounds compared to ordinary pads.
